In the coming years, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia will enable many young people to enter the police profession. This profession involves interesting and varied activities with a secure income. Prerequisites for employment include a high school diploma or full entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences. In addition, career changers can also be admitted to study with the police under certain circumstances.

You will study at the North Rhine-Westphalia University of Applied Sciences for Police and Administration and earn a Bachelor of Arts degree. After completing your studies, you will be appointed as a police commissioner.

New:
With an intermediate school leaving certificate, you have the option of attending the police technical college and obtaining the entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences. In principle, you can then go on to study at the NRW University of Applied Sciences for Police and Administration.
