On Wednesday evening (17.7.), there was a traffic accident at the Holtkampstraße / Luisenstraße junction in which a 16-year-old from Bünde was injured. At the time of the accident at around 7.30 p.m., the teenager was riding his Benelli light motorcycle (125cc) on Holtkampstraße coming from the city center in the direction of Brunnenallee. At the same time, a 40-year-old female driver of a VW ID.3 was driving on Luisenstraße in the direction of Hindenburgstraße. At the junction of the two roads, the 16-year-old driver overlooked the Bünder woman in her VW, who was coming from the right and had the right of way. The two vehicles collided, throwing the teenager to the ground. He injured his arms/legs and was taken by ambulance to Bünder Hospital for outpatient treatment. The damage to both vehicles is estimated at around 1,500 euros.
