The man became increasingly aggressive, tried to free himself from the officers' grip and hit them. The police officers then decided to take the man into custody to prevent criminal offenses. Using considerable force, the officers managed to handcuff the man from Ahlen, put him in the patrol car and strap him in. Meanwhile, the 37-year-old spat at a police officer and insulted the officers. The man from Ahlen spent the next few hours in police custody.
